The Light and Emotions research is the first global study on the work of independent lighting designers. Synovate was selected by Philips Lighting to conduct a qualitative research. This study represents an attempt to go beyond the functional role of lighting and understand the asthetic and emotional aspects of light through the eyes of professionals who are passionate about improving the quality of lighting. It attempts to understand the challenges they face, the trends they see and anticipate, and the meaning they associate with what is happening around them.
